WCCA offers many benefits including:
- Information on a diverse number of topics including new medical modalities, legal updates, handling difficult claims and customer service as well as requirements and changes involving Oregon workers’ compensation laws.
- Monthly luncheons, January, February, March, May, August, November and December Holiday dinner, featuring a pertinent topic relevant to workers’ compensation claims. These are eligible for one hour of qualified training for claims examiners pursuant to OAR 436.055.
- Annual WCCA golf tournament in August.
- A minimum of two education seminars April and October each year offer up to six hours of qualified training pursuant to OAR 436.055.
Continuing education credits for other professional institutions may also be available.
